roll of TURF we supply covers one square yard (81" x 16")
Preparation
Work
The aim is to achieve an
even, firm, flat surface on which to lay your new TURF, free
of weeds, stones and clods. TURF should be laid within 24hrs
of Collection/Delivery.
Start by laying TURF
along the straightest edge working towards yourself, wooden planks
are an especially useful tool to work off ensuring you do not walk
your footprints on the freshly raked soil. Do not leave any gap
between the rolls of TURF and butt edges up together ensuring
that they do not over lap. Finally use a sharp knife/spade to trim
the TURF.
Ensure you have an adequate water supply i.e. outside tap to water
